I just purchased this exhaust from ebay. Its a full system for my 1995 Civic DX 2 Dr. I have had an ebay catback on now for 200k miles with no issues at all. Now i want to try a full system. so im going to give it a try. Ill let you guys know how it works out incase anyway has been wondering about it.

What are you expecting? It's Ebay and only $175 to boot. If you weren't loud and annoying while driving down the street, you will be now.

And yet, you bought a knockoff Ebay exhaust that is exactly that. LOUD. Removing the stock exhaust manifold only serves to INCREASE the noise levels. Coupled with installing that "test pipe" in place of a real catalytic converter you'll only serve to add onto that noise. I guarantee it. Your previous catforward system was the only thing that kept your car quiet.

From the ad

"High Performance Exhaust system featuring patented straight through & multi-core technology to unleash all hidden horsepowers!
This kit is designed for Off-Road (track) racing only!"

Which is exactly what any DX needs...to unleash all hidden horsepowers! lol

and mark is right, that thing is a straight pipe from the motor..its going to be LOUD. Not Loud sexy like a v10 M5.....loud ugly like a 100hp dx with absolutely no exhaust thats funneled to the rear of the car.

Kinda late to be asking if you already bought it and have it installed.

Not a chance in hell this "system" will pass smog as-is.

and then the....

"Hey guys, my exhaust has rotted off within 6 months", or the "Help! My exhaust sounds like crap after 6 months" posts.

It's basically the same thing you had before, except with no cat and a less effective resonator AND larger piping. It will be very loud and especially raspy.

I have an ebay exhaust. It's loud. When I'm driving down the interstate I can barely have a conversation. I'm getting rid of it when I rebuild my engine. I can't wait haha.

But It holds up pretty good for only being $180

Now the self rationalization begins.

Why do people never listen?

That saying seems to always ring true. Ya get what you pay for. When you get tired of the pissed off bee sound at least cough up a little bit more money and get ya a plm header and yonaka exhaust

Mine did! Never had a problem with my eBay header. I actually liked it. Especially for $45

Just some food for thought.. I traded my 93' DX for an LS swapped CX. The hatch is running open cat, no muffler at all and it is still quieter than my D16Z6 with test pipe and eBay muffler was. That car came with the eBay muffler and 3 inch piping though.

I'd maybe consider an eBay exhaust kit if I was running boost. No way I'd voluntarily put one on an N/A car. You're probably better off putting your old catback on and selling the eBay exhaust on craigslist.
