Can anyone tell me what this control does?
I've seen it but the manual offers no instruction for use, nor can I find anyone that knows what it does. Can anyone tell me what the function is of this left to right lever?

Yes. Also, if you hear a funny noise coming from the front end, you can open it up to listen without rolling down the window...haha.

It's not only outside air. When closed (left) it blows whatever the climate control is set for (ie. inside or outside but only when using the dash vents).
