has anyone ever used a 02 ep3 si (k20a3) o2 sensor on the 05+ rsx type s (K20z1)?

I need to replace to on attached to the header and my brother has some laying around to use. But his car is a 02 ep3 si (k20a3).

will it work or will i have problems?

Can i drive without the o2 sensor as well? I am taking a 3hr trip and would like to fix this issue before going

no. they read at different frequencies. you can however use it if you have kpro.

 

Not sure if this helps....but I did the opposite RSX 02 sensor in my '05 Ep....saved $40 bucks and the only difference I could see was that the RSX wiring was longer.....I'd say, try it....what's the worse that could happen....CEL?
