Does anyone know where to get the pipes from the cat to the muffler in 2 1/2" diameter for a decent price? I put a header and new cat on myself and have a new stainless muffler, but every shop I go to gives me some lame excuse why it's gonna be so hard and quotes me some ridiculous price (...it's gonna be hard to bend 2 1/2" around the rear control arm, there is not enough clearance for 2 1/2" in the rear from side to side and it will rub and rattle, stainless is hard to weld, the flange attached to the cat will have to be cut off and welded to 2 1/2" pipe, the muffler is gonna stick out too much, 2 1/2" is really big we use 2" on trucks, blah blah blah...). I have seen what I need on ebay, but it's all stock 1 1/2" pipe. If I can find a kit in 2 1/2" pipe I'll just do it my damn self... My cat is 2 1/2" out and the muffler is 2 1/2" in so naturally I want 2 1/2" between. I mean, what's the point of even doing this if I'm gonna choke it down in the middle with stock pipe? I could buy an entire cat back kit in 2 1/2" stainless for less than what some of these idiots are quoting me, lol! If I didn't already have a new muffler I probably would just do that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
