Anybody seen Type-R rims on 5th gen. Prelude?
I have..I used to have them on my Prelude. I had the gunmetal ones. Sorry man, I didn't get a chance to take any pics before I got rid of my car
I would love to see some pics of this if anyone has them. I was thinking about putting the same rims on my 5th Gen Lude as well.
Most people choose a smaller diameter wheel for performance reasons. And for that purpose a 15x7 or 15x7.5" wheel would be ideal on a Prelude. 7"+ width should be OK for a nice meaty 225 width tire. The ITR wheels are unfortunately only 15x6". The narrow 6" wide wheel will limit the tire width you can run... So there might be better, lighter options out there if you want a 15" wheel for performance.

I've seen the new DC5 RSX/Integra Type R wheels on a white 98 lude, and it looked pretty tight, also, I believe there is a set for sale on Ebay, if you're interested.
I know where you can get the '02-'03 Honda ITR rims (17x7), but it's going to cost you. $450/rim @ http://www.jdmhondaparts.com. That is probably going to be my next mod. I know you can get those in Silver or White. The white would look good on red, black, and blue Preludes, but I don't think it would go so well on the lighter colored 'ludes. Of course, there is always the silver one's...Hmm, t'would look sweet!
