Local shop, I heard they do pretty good work.

*edit - You can see the spray lines on the hood in the final product shot..

lol saw that also.. do you think you could be able to use an actual spray gun with lets say a 2.2 tip instead of that ghetto wagner spray gun>>?

I think that the stuff dries super fast so gun/tip clogs would be epic. Since the wagner has had "larger spray head" over a tip from a gun...maybe it works better. However, if I got the car back with stripes like that ... I'd be kinda pissed.

the accuspray HG09 would be a good option for a spray gun for that application!

Automotive grade paint is one of the fastest drying paints I have delt with. In the right atmosphere, it dries in a matter of 1 or 2 seconds. I have used Plasti-Dip and it takes quite a while to dry. You can use a gun, just need to make sure you have a tip large enough. Plasti-Dip is also self leveling so it may look textured as soon as it is sprayed but after about 30 seconds it will be as smooth as the surface it was sprayed on.

It looks like **** on the hood and down the sides....

When he shows the side view down the passenger side it looks terrible.
