Default A/c problems 06 civic

I added some freon to the A/C and it seemed to be working fine but then it started blowing hot and the car started acting funny. It started shifting weird and it acts like it wants to stall on me, Help.

Take it to a shop and get them to check the AC system for leaks and pressure, then have them pull the codes on your ECU. Sounds like you created a problem and the computer wants to limp mode the car. By the way, freon is not used in Honda vehicles, HFC-134a is the refrigerant used. This might be one of the problems.

i would take it to a honda dealer. i work at one and we always have people come in with ac problems stating they just charged it themselves or went somewhere like jiffylube and had it charged. it alsways seems like something goes wrong. so i would recommend going to honda and haveing them take a look
