SI rims on a non SI civic
I have a 08 LX civic.. and i bought some SI stocks from my boy.. when i tried to fit the front on.. the wheel rubs on the caliper.. i don't know if i need spacers.. or if i put the wheel on wrong.
but seriously, how the **** do you put a wheel on wrong?
lol very funny.. but im not saying i put it on wrong im asking.. cus i used to have a BMW and i never had fitment problems like that.
OE wheels for 2011 Si are 45mm, and for the 2008 we'd normally stay closer to 48 to 50mm, so they should be right on the money. At worst, you could slide a small 3 or 5mm spacer in to clear the caliper.

As Doc has said, you will definitely need a small spacer so the wheels won't rub on the caliper, you might be able to put on a 5mm spacer and get away with having to change the studs.
