Heat Shield self adhesive mat FS - Great for underhoods and firewall
This product saved the paint from melting on my fiberglass hood due to the heat generated from my turbo setup and is rated for 1,100 degrees radiant heat and 500 degrees direct heat.
I've had it on my car for two years and the adhesive shows no signs of failure anywhere. I used less that half of a 3'x 5' sheet for my hood and the other half+ is up for sale.
What I liked about this product was the self-adhesive backing and that the mat can be trimmed by scissor and is flexible to mold around the underside of the hood.
Can be used on hoods, fire walls or floor boards.
