06 Pilot misfire codes/no driveability issue??
Newbie, if there is already a post on this issue, someone smack me and redirect please!!
Just bought a 2006 Pilot EX-L (approx 85K miles) for the wife.
After driving it for about 300 miles CEL came on. P0300-P0306.. Hmmm... Checked plugs, and decided to go ahead and change them.
So, new plugs now, about another 100-150 miles CEL again. Same codes. Checked the freeze frame data: coolant temp was only 118 and vehicle speed was 0mph. Wife claims she never noticed anything strange. Neither have I.
Spoke with original owners, Timing belt has never been replaced. (I plan on doing so this weekend... and yes, I am capable)
First thoughts: and according to Honda... It's way over due(year wise). Maybe the belt is slack and/or missing teeth?? Timing belts usually show their ugly side during start up
Second: Valve adjustment?? Mileage still too low IMO.
Third: Electrical issue, ECU needs reflashing etc..
Fourth: Lean Missfire due to dirty injectors etc(going to check my long term and short term fuel trim now)..
Any opinions from previous experience with this issue would be great.

Going off of my gut, no valvetrain noise(as TSB states), so I took to the dealer friday and had them reflash. So far so good!! Gonna see if the reflash fixes it before going with valves.
BTW: 4 hours labor for valve adjustment
. 1 hour for reflash.
