Hello. So I got this L3 cable trans that is hooked up to a 92-95 EX motor that is shot. Will this trans mate with the D16a6 that is in my CRX Si? What do I look for? I have read about the splines and stuff. Looked up the alignment tools used on both types of cars...I was just wondering if anyones knows right off if I can someday use the EX trans to swap with my Si trans or just sell it on craigslist.com...thanks.

 

If its a real L3 cable trans it should be plug and play.. Hell it probably originally came out of a CRX..

 

cable trans to an obd0 motor, shouldn't be a problem, not like you're re-using the clutch (I'd hope)

 

Thanks a lot! I am going to switch out the transmissions (with a new clutch and resurfaced pressure plate and stuff) and fix the bearings that are making noise in the origional.

 

just count the splines before you order a clutch could be an oddball 20 spline
