Brake lights not working???
hi, I have a 2000 honda civic si. all of a sudden my brake lights dont work, all 3 of them when i step on the brakes. I changed the bulbs and still nothing. But when i press my alarm to arm or disarm the brake likes (red) blinks ones as door is unlocked etc. any ideas? The middle brake light and the back window looked black alittle and was replace, but non still work when i step on brake. any ideas?

i think so too that it might be the brake switch, because the lights do work, just not when i step on brake, and i checked the fuses their fine.
Fuse or brake switch, check for power to the brake switch even if the fuse is good.
I am also guessing it is the park lights that flash when you arm/disarm the alarm, not the brake lights, or does the high mount, [center] brake light also flash when you arm/disarm? 94

how would i check the power to the brake switch? and the fuses are good, the brake fuse is labeled tail light, correct? cuz i changed it too. and i changed the brake switch nothing. still doesnt work.
tested fuse box with voltmeter some had no power. took it to the shop. they said wires were fried, swappe with new wires and brakes work again
