You might can find a head at a junk yard, hoping that it has not been ran over heated before. AutoZone sells my head for almost 500 or 600 dollars. If you can find a good head for yours at a junk yard it would be cheaper.

You can certainly buy a new head but you're going to pay dealer prices for it.
There are several Y8 heads on Ebay right now for $250-300. If you're replacing the head might as well go Y8 and do a mini-me. The Y7 head seems considerably more "rare" unless you can source one at a junkyard, etc.
Where I am anything Honda is rat*****ed before it hits the lot.

Heh, you can still by the cylinder head new for the low low price of $1286.73:

Fuel Rail, $66.29:

Injector Set (you'll need four of these) $122.73:

OEM Exhaust Manifold + Catalytic Converter $561.05:

Of course, if you're keeping track, that's $2404.99 (before shipping and shop fees if you're paying someone to install it all). I'm also not including seals, gaskets, and other costs associated with replacing the cylinder head and exhaust manifold. You could buy another civic if you were intending to pay this much....
Or you could always find a used cylinder head and pay $75-100, etc.
