Default Review of new mobil one tri synthetic and mobil1 filter

I know some are speculating on the new tri synthetic formula from mobil1. Mostly the additive package. Well, after 2,500mi of abuse and 500mi of driving like miss daisy was in back (clutch break in), here is what i found. 1. I burned .25quarts. I ushally burn .75-1qt on the old formula. 2. My spoon drain plug 99.99% clean. Almost no visable metal at all. I think the Mobil one has actually improved. I burned less and seemed to have less wear. The only varible that could have affected wear was maybe the mobil 1 filter, previously used honda, may have picked up the metal that normally would have gone to the plug. the mobil1 oil filters is top notch

honda filters depend on which ones you have...USDM, CDM, JDM

the new mobil1 formula is supposed to now pass in the ball test or whatever which previously wasn't so good at...as so i heard.
