here is my recent upgrade. got an aem v2 intake from an 02 si put it on my 97 hatch.. here is how it looks.. does it look strange?

 

You have an EJ6, not an EK.

That's interesting, the fitment looks good.

 

oops its been a while. ej ek same thing.. almost.. the fitment is very tight but its strange having the filter twisted back id say but still.. just barely fits under the hood and i got it for a steal so i figured id try and see how it looks.

 

I mean, if I wasn't boosted, I'd run it.

Funny the OP would ask about how the intake looks The intake is fine, but the engine bay needs some serious love

 

I just wished the pictures were even bigger! Just kidding, it looks like it fits well, so as long as it's doing its job.

 

yea its been a while since i posted on here and forgot how to resize the pics before posting.. and the engine bay will be worked on just have to decide what swap id like. just was bored at work wanted an opinion, not for the new intake itself but the actual shape of it, keep it or go to the normal aftermarket intake for that year.

 

bet you 10 dollars it will pop off or get crushed in a few days. the engine moves you know... and the coupler already looks stressed
