Default h22 crx exhaust?

I have a 88 crx with a 97 h22a4. It only had a header when I did the swap. Since then the header has broken. I need a header Nd exhaust. I know eBay isn't the best option, but that's what I'm looking at. What is everyone's suggestions and inputs ? I have a little over $200 that's y I'm looking at eBay. This won't be for the long run just until I get a job and have money to do it right.

If thats the money you got, ebay maybe your only option. Ebay is not bad, it just isn't good. There has been alot of possitive reports on ebay exhaust here. Just search the forum, and see the reviews.

I re-read that thread. At the end they started having problems, and didn't like it after all. They said the ebay muffler was the problem, and the stainless started rusting. You could paint it with exhaust paint, and get a different muffler. Cheaper grades of stainless will brown, 304 will not.

I personally just bought mandrel stainless 2.5 inch pipes to match my Type R header, and all magnaflow parts. Cost me somewhere around $800 in parts. Since it was stainless, I had someone else weld mine.

Ok let me try to sort this.

Where did the header break? Can you just re weld it? That will be a lot cheaper than swapping exhaust manifolds.

Now on the exhaust, good metal isn't cheap. You can waste money and get a junk system and then redo it, or do it right the first time.

No one's commented on modding a car when you don't have a job. You should be looking for the damned cheapest option and searching for employment, if you have another mode of transport, let the project sit.
