Default d16a6 + PM3 pistons, need some advice

ok so in short I am rebuilding the engine from my crx. The car IS a daily driver, however I don't drive it all that much (avrage about 6-7K a year) and I run the car at the local street car shoot out as well as spending alot of time on backroads

According to my machine shop, the block will need bored out to 75.25, but as I am unable to find any higher compression pistons (oem style and not from honda, dont want to pay dealership prices lol) I am going to take it out to 75.5mm

Was originally planning on running PG6 pistons, but am unable to find them, so going with PM3 pistons, which as everyone knows stick out of the hole aprox. 0.7mm

The block and head (both A6 units) are uncut, only being lapped to help gasket seal, and I am most likely using a y8 head gasket, about 0.027" compressed.
(found that figure on D-series)

That would put the piston aprox. level with the bottom of the combustion chamber. Did some measuring and it seems the combustion chamber is only 74.6mm bore, and has about 2.5mm of depth until I hit the quench zone in the head.

After factoring in about 0.040" for rod and bolt strech (as per endyns readings) this should put me about 1mm in the chamber, and about 1.5mm off of quench, providing a very effecient and clean burn. more power and more MPG

So my question is,(1) is it safe to open the chambers up a tiny bit to allow some extra clearence, just in case? (2) What is the amount of piston to quench typically used by engine builders?

Thanks in advance, this is my first honda build and I am really wanting to do it right the first time, and hopefully gain some power while im at it :-)
