i have a 98 sedan which i just swapped and boosted my engine. im pretty much ready to tune so something told me to check my injectors to make sure they fit seeing as how i want my tune to go as smoothly as possible.
i bought precision injectors, at first i was told they were 550's but after they told me they were 750's. (which i beleive they meant 780cc) but regardless they dont fit my clips for the wire harness
i was told that i do not need a resistor box is this true?
and ive been researching this and came across adaptor clips from phearable.net and they have 2 different types of clips so i got abit lost.
which clips are the ones id need?

i assume itd be just cutting the original clip off and attaching these pigtails to the harness?
but the website said clips so it threw me off
Yeah, if you ordered the pigtails from Precision, you'll be cutting off the factory pigtails and soldering/heat shrinking the new pigtails on.

also, just to be sure. you said these are low impedence.
so... resistor box? or no resistor box?

You can find all the fun information about low/hi impedance injectors here. Long story short, you need a resistor box, unless you want to fry your ECU.
now on another note, this will be my first dyno experience.
what should i do in preparation for the tune?
i will be doing an oil change prior as well as new spark plugs at the tunning site, ive been checking my fluids and my cel is off, anything else i should check for?
oh and i also double checked all screws and bolts to be tight
(intake mani, exhaust mani, charge piping, turbo, bov, wastegate)
and hoses are all tight
(oil, coolant, fuel)
I feel like I just answered this exact same question last night. Make sure your CEL works and you have no stored codes. Make sure you have no fluid leaks. Personally, I would also do leakdown and compression tests to make sure the engine is healthy. Tuning and dyno time aren't exactly known for being gentle to an engine.
You have obd2 injector clips I'm assuming being 98. I just cut my injector clips off and soldered on Obd0/obd1 injector clips. Worked for my precisions here. And yes highly suggest a resistor box. Looks like a junk yard run for you lol

Also, you need to know for sure what CC the injectors are before getting tuned. your tuner is going to need to scale the tune for your injector size. is there a part number engraved on the injector? it should be obvious the flow rate from the part#

i only see 1 set of injector harnesses. not sure what where the confusion is...

save yourself $50 by going to the junkyard and cutting injectors clips off another obd1 honda. adapters are good if you need to convert back to obd2 (emissions/inspection). Otherwise you might as well permanently solder on the pigtails

got em! theyre 525cc injectors. soooo my next question is this.
im tunning on E85 which is supposed to use more of the duty cycle of the injector an max it out quicker.
about how much hp should i be able to push with these?

correct my apologies let me rephrase this. how much hp would these be able to push before maxing out.
but regardless these are 50/lb an hour injectors, i just got off the phone with my local shop and they said theyll give me a nice deal. i think its pretty sweet, 120/lb an hour injectors (precision) the set of 4 brand new for 250

precision 525cc are high impedance so no resistor box needed.
525cc is only good for ab out 300-350whp on gas so maybe 250-275 on e85. thats just a rough guess. i'd get the bigger injectors. also import injectors are rated in cc/min not lb/hr. leave that for the domestic guys
