Default 6th gen Civic headlight performance differences

Is there any or much difference in the headlight performance (light output, better optics, etc.) between pre-facelift and facelift 6th gen Civics?

TIA

Yes, halogen bulbs/lights do have their limitations... this is very well known. This isn't a halogen VS. HID, LED, etc. question.
I'm asking in regards to the housing and lens differences between the two models. In other words are there any gains with the revised headlight design?
