Icon6 Power Steering loop

Is it safe to run no power steering for a week (driving it once or twice) before i loop it? On a GSR EG Hatch

I dont know if its safe, But I have bin running open system for few years on my h22 civic. With no problems. And my ITR is looped with breather, It is about 20-30% harder to turn.

Thanks for the response guys. I basiclly just wanted to ditch my PS.. So its not gonna cause no harm to the steering rack if the lines are not looped? As they are now I have litterally cut the lines right from the bolts, Is that what you guys have done with the open system?
