opinions for sfp turbo mani for b series?
i thought someone made a topic discussing how sfp turbo mani's work but i couldnt find it in a search..anyways, im thinking abouyt purchasing one for my b16a..what are peoples opinoions on these? maxrev turbo mani or this one?
The SFP manifold is real nice. But I do sell a manifold that is really really nice, check it out http://www.elite-motorsport.com
You're right there was a post on the SFP manifold a while back and there was a problem with the customer having to out a fairly large notch in the block in order to get the turbo to fit. Even then I dont think it was sitting properly. I would definately go with a maxrev or maybe even a Revhard non-ac tubular. Those are some nice pieces. It depends on if you have a/c or not and how much $$$ you wanna spend. But then again the $$$ thing is always a concern.
i was gonna get the SFP for mine, but still undecided.
how much for you manifold?
i just checked the maxrev and $369 from them direct, which aint bad

SFP manifolds are very good. That shop is a decent shop but the prices are kind of high. I think the person you guys are referring with having problems with the H22A not a B-series' manifold.
agreed, sfp is rather pricey. I emailed them a while back to get a price on a mani, turbo and DP, and the total was around 1400 for everything! they were asking 500 for the mani, 850 for a garrett t3t4, and 175 for the dp, for individual pricing.
You really should check into my manifold if you are thinking about getting a new manifold. Mines about the same price as the inline pro manifold.... http://www.elite-motorsport.com
does anyone know off the top off their head if this turbo manifold is compatible with garret turbo's? (t3/t04e with .63a/r)
im just trying to make sure all my parts for my custom turbo set up will work together...i get very paranoid..
i know the maxrev manifold will work for my turbo..so is this mani just like the maxrev one for the b-series (with the exception of the "90 degree bend for WG")
fyi: i got my turbo off the h-t GB by turbochargedSER a while back..i think its the same turbo from "cheapturbos.com" if that helps

hey elite hatch, is there ever going to be more than a full kit advertised on your site? every time i go there everything but that turbo kit on the front page is under construction, and i don't see a price ANYWHERE for just the manifold...
edit: your search doesn't work either...........

~I personaly run the SFP manifold on my car and I love it. I consider it a piece of art. lol. There is virtualy no notching of the block. And the fitment issues that SFP has is on H series, and ever manufacturer has fitment issues with H series motors for some reason.
SFP is awesome, InlinePro is awesome, MaxRev is awesome, Elite's manifold sucks, Drag sucks, Rev Hard is so so, Kiwi is spectacular, Greddy is a joke
I'm using an SFP race manifold. It's a really nice manifold, just make sure you high temp coat it. Their manifolds come in two styles, a short length runner version that is more log oriented but tubular design. The long runner manifold is more or less a half equal length design. Two long runners on the number 1 and 4 cylinders, and converging with a slightly shorter runner on the 2 and 3 cylinders. Both are compatible with t3/t4 or straight t4's. I know you don't have to notch the block with the long runner style, but not sure about the shorter version.

thanks mang, i'll be in touch soon as i find me one of those things they call a "job"....moving sucks.
actually from what i saw with the sfp , you still need to shave the fins down on the block on DCR714's block . but its either the sfp or maxrev for me .
ON SALE RIGHT NOW!!! $360 SHipped....will go out tomorrow if bought tonight!
first to send funds to eh486@columbia.edu is the lucky owner.
