About to buy Progress CS-II, anything I need to know beforehand?
I know I need to use the OEM strut mount (and how do I go about taking them off? I need something to compress the OEM spring right?), and what else should I know?
I've never had an issue with bolts on my car in the 6 years I've had it.. Though I live in middle GA.
I don't think in SoCal the climate warrants rusted bolts. Also, depends on how old the car is too. A 1993 civic will probably be a lot different as far as the condition of the suspension bolts compared to my 2000 civic.

you will need the oem top hat off your old shocks... its easy to take off, you just need an allen wrench, or vice grips, and a wrench. no spring compressor needed.... I would reccomend doing it with the shock laying on the ground, and your foot holding pressure on it.
spray the bolts down with pb blaster about an hour before removing them and you shouldnt have a problem. also the instructions are so clear an 8 year old could do it.
but good buy though. i love mine.
