Fuel rail issues
Keep finding fuel running down my injectors and dripping down onto my intake manifold. Had this problem when i swapped the engine and we replaced the o-rings on the injectors and it stopped but now it's back but only after i crank the car for the first time. after about 40 seconds, the smells gone and if i look at the manifold, theres no gas dripping anymore. checked all the o-rings again but they were perfect. so now i think its a faulty fuel rail with a crack somewhere. thoughts anyone?

cracked in a pressurized system would lead to major leaks. what you can do to check is to prime the fuel pump. Get a friend to cycle key to ignition on but car off, while you are under hood looking at possible leaks. you can do this a few times and the system will prime giving itself pressure. around 40 psi.
do this and you will see if you really have leaks.

did it and i got the same results: gas dripping down onto the intake manifold and covering the injectors in a thin film. it's not a gushing of gas on the injectors though. but there is a very slow drip down onto the intake manifold.
