Quick transmission question
I have a 96 accord. The motor blew up(f22b2) so i found an f22b1 to put in it.
IM putting a jdm h22 auto trans on the new motor (came off the old one)
i put the trans on the motor and when i try to turn the crank pulley it wont spin.
(spins fine with it off)
My question is it suppose to do that. When i pulled the motor the trans was in park.
It would have to spin to start the motor so i am confused.
This is my first time putting an auto trans on so i dont know much about them.
Any help would be great. Thanks

There's a parking paw in auto trans that keeps it Tom turning over.. There should be a manual override on the center concel by the shifter to put it in a different gear. Normally it's hidden under a cover then you stick the key in the whole and move the shifter.
