i swapped my 91 dx hatch from auto to manual about 2 months ago.
its been running fine until today i started it up drove to my friends house and i was going to leave and it wouldnt crank over. just click. and i noticed my auto cluster didnt say it was in park.

i checked the 2 black wires and the green/white and they were fine. so i re-did them anyways and its still not putting my car in park. when the black wires are together and i touch the green/white one the fuel pump kicks on and stays running????

any help would be great.

 

try checking your starter wires

 

i did them again anyways. thats what i thought it was first.

i wired the 2 black wires together. and the white/green to the all black wire and it started right up....weird though

 

I got mine converted too , it starting good now, just 2 black wires connected.

 

The code 14 is a iacv. Thats the only code im getting. This time im 100% its not the wiring.

 

What slot is the iacv supposed to be pinned? And what color?
