Slipping Clutch??
My 93 accord ex recent got taken to a shop cause my ring gear on my flywheel came off so i got a brand new flywheel. The shop also adjusted my master cylinder. Before i took it in my clutch was perfect and fine. No it slipps a lot. Does anyone know if them adjusting my master cylinder couldve done this?
Should have replaced at least the clutch disk too...The new flywheel will be perfectly flat and work like it's supposed to. Your old one probably had high/low spots that the clutch disk had bedded itself into. Now you have a flat flywheel, and a clutch disk with high/low spots. Less friction material making contact = less friction = clutch slipping.
