Wrecked 98 civic....options with 99 front??
Hey guys, it's been awhile since I posted due to the fact I had my beautiful daughter and have fallen out of the honda game a little bit. Either way, my fiance rear-ended a lady this morning in downtown Denver, damage wasn't too bad (she was able to drive to and from work). She has comp for other drivers, but only liability on her civic, so her repairs are going to need to be out of pocket. When she got home I looked it over, looks like the entire front end is going to need to be replaced. Hood, right headlight, right side fender, bumper cover, grill, and upper radiator support are all damaged. I cant tell if I will be able to straighten the rad support or not, I haven't been able to pop the hood because it's jammed. Unless the $$ difference is DRASTIC I'm thinking about just upgrading to the 99-00 front end. I know I'll need hood, bumper cover, grill, fenders, headlights, headlight brackets, and upper rad support...Before I start purchasing products is there anything else I am missing? I know there are other threads showing how to do the conversion that I will use as a guideline, this thread is mainly to find all the parts needed for the swap, and where to buy them the cheapest. Also found out my 03 Avalanche needs $1200 in repairs (POS American trucks) and I have a wedding coming up in December, so the cheapest quickest option would be immensely helpful! No haters please, this is already enough to deal with. Thanks guys!
