Default 95 Civic/B18B1 swap losing engine oil but no oil leak

Hello HT

I have a 1995 Honda Civic ex with a B18B1 Swap engine.I'm running out of oil frequently and there's no leaking. I think my engine is consuming the oil. Someone told me that is consuming(burning) the oil because it has a lot of miles. I really don't know how many miles this motor has. I got the car for free from a family member. Is that true that the engine is consuming the oil or what's the problem?

Thanks

hey, more than likley it is an external or internal leak such as piston rings or valve guides or seals, the simplest way to tell is to have someone get behind your car when you start it and also while you drive and they should see blue smoke or puffs of blue smoke at any point or different points while they are behind you. You may also smell the burnt oil..... depends how bad it is, my b18b in my integra is the stock with 180 miles and i have driven it very hard since i have had it and it is now burning oil so it is time for a rebuild or a bigger change.... let me know what you find etc

Seriously. It'll help you figure out where any internal leaks are.
