Transmission Help 93 EX
So, i swapped motor and trans in my car. 93' EX originally came with the
F22A1 I think. Well it was on a transplant already when I bought it from a co-worker, he had a F22A6 put in it with original auto trans. Was working just fine before he parked it.
well i bought a motor and trans from a EX 2 door from a wrecking yard that was in a minor front end accident. I got the motor and trans in and got it running and had some codes.
Codes:
CEL 7 (tps) fixed
CEL 17 (VSS) not fixed, i was told this will not affect the transmission shifting in an way at all. Please tell me if this is not right, and might be the issue.
TCU 2 (lock up sol. b) fixed
Well here is whats going on currently. I have all the codes taken care of and fixed except the VSS, which from what i understand i dont need this fixed to get the tranny to work correctly. I can shift the car from 1st to 2nd manually. When i put the car in D4 it gets first gear only, wont shift from there. When i drove the car before i was able to shift the car 1st to 2nd manually, and then move the gear shifter all the way to "N" and it would shift through 3rd and 4th!!!! And it would not kick down at all when i floored it to try to make it kickdown. but it wont even shift through the gears now when i put it in "N" or anything. I dont think the transmission is bad since it has gone through all the gears, but i am not good with transmissions, never opened one or had to do much with them before.
So last night getting desperate, i pulled the TCU, looks great i will post the pics at the end, But i didnt think about it till yesterday maybe the tranny and the TCU are different models or they are not agrreing to shift or something, so i looked at numbers which they make sense to me that they should pair up together but maybe not thats why im here.
I think i filled in all the blanks that i can think of please ask me any other questions that you might need to know, I am actually pretty desperate to get this car going and any help would be greatly appreciated.
Here is the TCU Looks really good shape, sorry couldnt get a close up, but nothing burnt or leaking or expanded. So my opinion it seems like it should be working correctly, and it was working before the swapp.

Here is the case for the TCU i see that it has the 3EX Deshigiken, also i see in the first set of numbers that it has teh PX4, which i see on the transmission part or S/N as well, so i would assume that these should marry up just fine.

So this is the best picture i could get of the transmission, the code on the trans reads "PX4B-133XXXX" I couldnt read the last 4 from the picture completely but i dont think those really matter, please correct me if im wrong here as well.

Like i said, im pretty desperate to get this car fixed, any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
