Brake Questions
Okay I'm Back,
I've now completed my swap (B16A w/ys1 Trans) into an 89 HF, wire-tuck all of the wiring from headlight to tail lights are from the DX., auto to manual conversion w/ Hasport shift linkage and new poly bushings & B&M short shifter and misc. other Honda replacement parts for shifter, full interior swap from the 91 DX new "racing seats" not my favorite but they work and look alright, and I also reconditioned/replaced the front suspension (new LCA's, new upper & lower ball joints, tie-rod ends, bead-blasted and painted knuckles, replaced the wheel bearings, sway bar links & bushings, radius arm bushings, cleaned, primed & undercoated front wheel wells, etc.), new axles & 16" Rota Slips.

Now, I want to redo my braking system. My rear drums failed and I want to replace them with discs. I know this is a common swap and it has been covered extensively on this site and on the internet. However, I have never been able to find a comprehensive list of what will OR will NOT work for my car or at least for what I think that I would like to do.
What I know I need or can use is the 90-91 CRX SI trailing arms, break lines, and e-brake cables.
+ With those trailing arms am I limited to using the disc brakes from the CRX SI? Or can I use other larger rotors and calipers (like the 10.25 from the civic EX or the GSR) OR do I want to try to get the trailing arms from the vehicle with the brake set-up I want to use?
I also plan to upgrade my front brakes as well to a large size from most likely the EX or GSR. Will this work on my Si front knuckle/hub set-up i'm running?
I understand I will need a 40/40 prop valve to evenly distribute the fluid if I want to upgrade the front brakes, is that completely necessary? Also, is it ONLY necessary if I upgrade the fronts discs?
Will my need to replace my Booster also from the stock 13/16" to the larger 15/16" from the EX or the 1" of the GSR?
Which LCA's do I use keep my stock ones or change to the CRX Si's or what?
Will I need a rear camber kit or will an alignment that care of any issues?
One more, how will the GRS equipped with ABS, effect my build, OR would I have to convert my car to ABS OR did they make a non-ABS GSR?
I think that about does it, I hope this makes sense.
I have done my homework, but if anyone else has any articles or other info i should read please post it.

Crx Si and ex as well as gsr all had the same size brakes in the rear. If you want larger front discs pick up a set of 90/91 ex knuckles as well as the booster/MC. Run the 40/40 valve and stock lcas. No need for a camber kit for a brake swap and ABS makes no difference.
