Hello everybody.
I have a honda accord 1996 2.2L vtec and the car won't start...
I had that problem few times even while driving but now it seems to stuck and not start at all...
So while i am driving and lets say I stop at the light and then when the light turns green and I start pushing the gaz the car just makes a noise and the engine stops.
Now for the problem that the car don't start at all now. I turn the key half way and the P (parking) appears plus the D4(driving) appears as well and after 2 seconds both of them disappear.
I know it is not suppose to be like that and only the P (parking) suppose to appear.
Before I tried to push my car few meters and then it started but now I try it and it does not help to start the car.

Any suggestions what is the problem?

sounds like the gear selector went bad. the car will never start if its not in park. your saying the d4 lights up as well. which is why its not starting.

 

The d4 is up only for few seconds. it is up together with the parking and then it disappears.

 

pull the codes. but im still going to say your gear selector is shot.

But how do I pull the codes? sorry I do not really know about cars :/
And I think the problem is with the thing that is connected to the spark plugs I do not know how it's call but it gives the ignition to the spark plugs...
I am not sure 100% but I think this is the problem
