when i bought the car from the dealer the power antenna wasn't working. i didn't think much of it until i put a new head unit in. i figured it was dead so i manually pulled it up.

well last night i found out why it wasn't working. apparently the jackass dealer put an aftermarket spoiler (small, not a huge wing) on the trunk. a spoiler that was longer than the trunk itself and spread out over the rear fenders......enough to where if the antenna is up the spoiler hits it

so after digging around i pulled back the panel in the trunk and sure as the world, UNPLUGGED. i plugged it back in and BOOM, it starts retracting what it can.

now im stuck with a bent *** antenna that doesn't go all the way down. so unplug it and keep it up you say. well yeah thats all well and good if i never wanna use my trunk.

are there ANY smaller options for these cars (90-93) as far as antennas?

 

nothing? someones gotta have seen a mini antenna hooked up to these things!

It will work. I have it installed on my 1995.

 

was it a plug n play or did you have to modify anything? and im guessing this eliminates the need for the power motor huh?
