Del Sol Probs
I am in the market for a 93-95 Del Sol VTEC and I was wondering if there are any things other than just the mechanical things that I should look at. I am aware of the roof leaking problem on some early 90's but is there any other little faults that I should look out for?
First off...do you want the sohc or dohc vtec? If dohc then you can write off the 93. Honda started making the B16 in the sol in 1994. As far as problems go, I'd would not even bother with anything except a 95+ Before that the top will leak and make an annoying rattle noise. The trunk will leak before a 95 as well. In 95 Honda added a trunk release and also a low fuel light. No power locks as well and if safety is a concern, dual airbags and ABS. If I had to do it again, I would go with a 95 VTEC (B16) and it has all the creature comforts that will help you get through the day.

Entirely depends on what you want to do. Are you interested in doing a swap? Do you plan to keep it stock? Looking for a "race" car (ie, is weight an issue?).......
