I own an EG but my sister just bought an 89 SI Civic. I don't know the difference between 88-91 Civics since I don't own one or care too much for them. Her car was throwing a code 9... the sensor inside the dizzy was bad. A buddy of mine sold me an 88 SI dizzy but the bolt pattern is too small and doesn't line up with my sisters motor. Her motor is definately a D16A6... did he sell me the wrong distributer or are they different from 88-89? I searched in the FAQ but couldn't find anything... any help is greatly appreciated.

 

He sold u the wrong one. Your should have a td02 or td18 stamping on one of the legs
