Del Sol Driver window won't roll down! HELP Please!!!
I just got a new door and the owner said that the power windows work perfectly. My last door didn't have a regulator on it. I installed this door and the power windows is still not working. Its just the driverside. All other sides work perfectly. What could it be? Could it be faulty wiring? Theres a bunch of wires hanging from near the interior fusebox. Please help me!! This is sooo annoying!!!
What year Del Sol?
Post pictures of the hanging wires.
Next test the window motor in the driver's door by running power and ground wires to it directly from the battery. Up versus down is controlled by switching polarity of the wires. Does the motor run?

I am very bad with electrical things. Can I use any wire? I will try so now. Its a 1994. Here is the pic. Sorry for the huge pic..

No. I'm commenting on that rat's nest. Why are the wires in that condition? Did you buy it like that?
In the meantime follow the steps outlined in pot #4. Any wire should work.

Yeah when I bought it they were all hanging like so. Okay I'm gonna get to it now and post the after-math. Thanks. I really do appreciate it.
You need to do this right the first time. That kind of mess will leave you puzzled forever. I can tell you through my experience on these things, that you need to do what the man suggested in post 4 before anything else. Once you have established that the motor is good...you better pull back the rubber seal where your fender harness meets your door. There is a high possibility you will find some broken wires.
I'm trying to test the window motor now. I really don't think I'm doing this right. Help!?

How am I supposed to get the wires in there? Are they suppose to go in there?

I had a similar issue, for a quick fixypu can run a wire to your fuse box, and then to the plug for the door switch. This should get them to go up and down. My problem ended up being a few thing: a cut wire which needed to be soldered, I replaced the fuse box, and all fuses, next was replace the connector into the door. After doing all that power works great.

The thing is I suck at electrical stuff so I wouldn't even know where to start on that.
Don't worry man, so do I. Just get a wire long enough to go from your door to your fuse box under dash. Something that is not too thick, in your fuse box you should have a few empty place that would hold relays, touch one end of the wire to that, and place the other into the connector on the door. The connector has multiple wires, so you'll have to try each one.
