Though I never messaged him or started a thread about my starting problems with my hatchback, I have used a combination of his replies to multiple threads regarding this issue. I have battled this non starting issue for months now ( and 4 tows later ) and it has stumped some of the best mechanics I know. With a lot of reading, researching and "back to basics" testing, I finally have solved my issue once and for all. On top of that I am only out a a new main relay instead of crap shooting at what it could be and buying parts(distributor/battery/ecu/etc).

All in all, I just wanted to give props to a dying breed of a true enthusiast around here for sharing his expertise and giving help to even the people who don't post on here that often. He has no idea who I am, but I felt the need to say something because it is not often that people take time to be so patient and help you get to where you are going without any reward on their end.

So to RONJ@HT.....

I don't give a flying rats a$$ what they do to my thread. I don't care if its in the right place. I just wanted to say thanks. If that gets me "scolded" for doing so, then be it! I just wanted to give props. The only reason I put it in this section, is the fact that most of his threads are based in this forum and he would see it. Past that, do what you like with it!

 

Lol. I just noticed both your join dates. You 2 are the exact crowd that now makes this place a little less..... Worries about other people posts and where they put them vs. actually helping someone out or giving some good advice. Keep it up you two
