Tie rods or ball joints.

3 and 9 on the wheel, as far as I Remeber is outer tie rod...or just tie rod in general.

lifting up on the tire or pressing 12 / 6 is balljoint...

and make sure your lugs are a good 80lbs.
I spent all day once trying to diagnose a sound....turned out some jerkoff loosened my lugnuts. It was the last thing I looked at since I had torqued them down 3 days prior and never thought they'd back themselves off....

As has already been said, 3/9 wobble is tie rods, tie rod ends, or (worst case) steering rack. The best way to be sure would be to get under the car where you can see those parts, and have a friend either wiggle the wheel, or wiggle the steering wheel so you can see what is moving and how much it's moving.

thanks so much! I will look into it more before I put it on the road. I always forget hondas are a lower tq on the lugs I put mine at 100ft lbs but use an extension... so say 90-95lbft. that bad? bc they come off tooooooo easy with the iron on anything less.

unfortunatley I still have quite a list for this car to be where I want it kickin *** looking good running perfect. one day tho!

keep in mind if you have 3-9 / 12-6 play you certainly could be looking at a bearing AND ball joints. my old ek I had play all around I tightened the axle it had only 3-9 play, replaced the bearing and it was good to go.

which now gives me a feeling its the bearing. will find out and update.

IIRC torque for Honda lugnuts is 80ft lbs for alloy wheels and 90ft lbs for steel wheels. We had preset torque wrenches for them when I worked for Honda. Generally we'd crank the lugnuts on with an impact at something well above what they were supposed to be at and then check with the torque wrench. (it's surprising how often one isn't anywhere near tight enough)
