I have a pretty beat up 98 civic ex that I'm going to scrap is there any parts I should keep that would work on my 89 hatch, I already have a motor swap so I don't need the engine and I'm keeping the radiator to put in after I get a new crossmember

 

nothing but the motor thats it.

 

anything that is in good condition should be taken off and saved, you never know, maybe you'll get another 98 in the future or you can sell the parts to people on here.

also, strip every last nut, bolt, washer, bushing, rubber grommet off of it that you can. having lots of extra little things like that always comes in handy, especially if you're like me and forget what bolt goes where and then you lose the bolt... heh

 

Ya I'm saving a few things like that coolant hoses a bunch of wires, sensors and stuff like that

 

I would save every single part that can be removed, if you don't use them,someone else might buy them. There is no point in wasting parts scrapping something
