I was at the gas staition waiting for a pump when the lady in front of me just backs into me. my front bump and left fender are done. My question is do you think insurance will give me enough money for a type R conversion? I doubt it but im just curious.

probably not all of it. depending on your insurance ... they should cover some and you'll have to pay the difference if you want the JDM front end (what i think you meant by "Type R front") expect to pay a lot.

 

not a chance in blue hell. ur talking 3000 just to buy a new kit. plus labor ur talking atleast 2000

 

wouldnt have to worry about labor, i have access to a paint booth, and have very nice friends. but yeah i was hoping tryin to make the best of the situation. thanks guys

 

get an estimate, then tell them to write you a check if it comes anywhere near 3000.

Its going to be like 2800, thats how much my estimate was. Make sure you go to the most expensive body shop in town, then tell them to write you a check, your going to have to front some of your own money though.

 

i highly doubt insurance would give you enough money for that stupid lady
