Default H22 turbo, 5th gen Civic, alternator fitment

H22A1 with Blueridge Motorsports bottom mount manifold. Turbo flange sits in front of the #2 cylinder, clocked slightly clockwise while looking down. I plan to start with my GT30R and move up to a GT35 or GT40 maybe?

For room, I think I'll use a D series alternator just to make this easier.

Anyone else doing H series turbo in a Civic, I would appreciate input. I think the normal 1/2" over bracket should work from what I am looking at. Would the high mount (power steering location) fit ok/better? I'm worried about the hood already as it is.

Thank you that helps a lot. I think the alternator is just a little too close though, and I want to be able to run a tube up to mount an air filter behind the driver's side headlight. Thank you, I'll be relocating the alternator down now I think.

That manifold is made to be used with factory alterantor bracket like pictured above so our Upper Kit should work OEM spec and or PS high will work as well.
