Default Still have occasional scratch sound

I have put this post up before but i still occasionly get this noise right when my car cranks over there is a scratch sound. The sound is only right when the car turns on and only happens a couple times a month. I have checked my flywheel and the teeth are good i also put in a new starter and i still get the noise sometimes. Has anyone had this problem before? Also is it possible that a distributor could make that noise. I also read that it could be my VTEC solenoid but i dont understand that because my VTEC kicks in just fine and the solenoid is really just a switch

maybe your starter aint shimmed right. you need to put shims then try again. some car require to be shimmed. not all starters are the same. ericthecarguy has a video on how to do it.
