Icon3 JDM HID headlight help ASAP

Well I finaly fot my ITR last night as happy as i was to own one finaly it became bitter sweet on the way home. THe car has a JDM HID front end but the HID ballast or black box is not there. I have not realy got a chance to look to see how it was wired up and what they used for a bulb but it looks great but is super super week out put.

What i want to know is if I can just buy a Phillips HID kit for the USDM ITR headlights and just plug that into the JDM housing port and be done with it or do i need a special set up?

Last night at 1am driving home from sellers house was a nightmare I had the fogs and driving lights on and it was a dim as a **** could not barel see so I need a solution asap cause its scary to drive at night with such low visiblity long range ( 3+ car lenghs). Im gonna play with adjustment on beam to see if helps in the mean time but I need more juice for sure.

YES YES I did a search and found lots of info on teamintegra.net and on HT and thats how I found out i have the HID lights just no HID's but never got the answer im searching for.

Why not buy the black box with stock light? I'm sure jdm import shops might have them for reasonable price. I have the jdm hid front and it shines perfect.

I will try my stock bulb in my spare jdm headlight , I'll let you know how it fits in few mins.

Update:

As you can see a stock bulb fits, so you can make a Hid kit bulb fit, I however recommend try to bring her back to stock.

I would love to buy a ballast OEM set up for my lights but since they r becoming harder to find most shops will not part with them & wont sell them without u buying the whole headlight assembly. So I figure if I can get a Phillips set up for teh USDM ITR for $100 why pay 4x's that for OEM and not get much more for my money.

Then only ? I have now when ordering this kit is they have a options like do u need a relay kit and etc what set up would be best and what options do i need to be as plug and play as possible http://www.philipshidkits.com/acura-integra-hid/

Thanks
-Chris

Alot of people will recommend to run relays, I do not have relays on any of my cars (with HID kits) or ever had them, If you want to be on the safe side then run them. And I never had a problem.

How dose you wiring look? Do you have stock light bulb plug or is it wired up some how?

Thats what I have to do this weekend is look. Car is at my house and ill be away from it for a few days. Im hoping its not a hack job to make it a easy fix. Makes me wish I did not get a JDM front now LOL. I guess this is all part of the game right. It's been 8 years since my last honda so i gotta catch up with my homework now so much has changed in so many ways.

I have a set of JDM HID headlights on my R and I want to get rid of the OEM ballasts, bulbs, and the projectors itself because I'm planning on retrofitting it so I'll get a proper LHD cutoffs and more light output with the projector clear lenses upgrade.
