Default Valve stem seals

I've installed a few Felpro valve stem seals in my gsr head but they dont seem to go down as far as the original ones did. There is a couple mm gap between the head and the bottom of the seal. They seem tight and are on the guide as far as I can get them without using a hammer which just breaks them. Anyone encounter this? I put the OEM ones side by side with the Felpro ones and the Felpro's look to be a bit shorter.
