Awesome to see more younger lads getting out there, we were all stoaked when we heard the news m8, although the heavy guys did have their complants....
What's the plan? Do you plan on competing in any of the FWD events? or are you just trying to go fast?
There was a big interest in the car being all cut up or not, and all of the younger lads that i spoke to are basically feeling the same thing. We can't afford Motec this and Kinsler that, i'm 23 now man and i been trying to afford the best parts for about 2 years, when, if i would have just done a simple setup and got out to the track i probably would have gone faster through experience and knowledge gained 'on the job', so to speak.
I probably could build a hot rod style car now, 1700lbs and it would cost me alot less to go 10's N/A than what i have already spent on a car that still doesn't run lol
But on the other hand, you gotta look at the bigger picture, just going fast costs money, actually having a race series can, and i believe one day, will be able to give better payouts to the racers.
We have strength in numbers, we will go further as a movement than any individual will do.
And I still kind of feel that to achieve any of this, we all gotta play by the same rules.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on it all man!

LOL it was actually me that complained at first, then i thought about it all, thought about it some more and then i just remember other people having comments but i'll let everyone else speak for themselves

But I will never enter a series I would rather do the odd day at pod when my car has its full potential to beat my personal best ie have my car with less weight, its my only advantage over the big boys

My car was never built as a drag car it has just bit by bit got there

Id say having a lower weight car can have both its advantages and disadvantages, as does having big power e.g. being able to put it down. People shouldn't have complaint's as it is anybody's choice how they build their car in the first place.

EP3's are weighing in at around 2300- 2400 depending on who's car you are on about but i can't see the lightest cars being below 2200???
I was told that the boot floor was all cut out, but I havent seen the car in person so i guess i was mis-informed.
People will only complain if they are racing against you and you are not playing by the rules, that's the top and bottom of it dude, nobody is hating we are all stoked to see you out there.
the boot floor has been cut only to accommodate fuel system but has been welded back in
