F20B swap in 94 Accord
My buddy just ordered this engine and were going to throw it in his accord, now I have a couple questions about this swap. Since the motor is OBD2 and the car is OBD1 shouldnt I be able to take a Intake Manifold and distributor off of a OBD1 H22/H23 and use it? And will I be able to use the stock CV axles that are in it now with the F22?
Yes, you can swap the F20B IM for a OBD1 H22 one to retain the 2-wire IACV and use an OBD1 H22 distributor so that it can be a plug N play. As for axles, you can use the Accords. Just make sure that if you're using an Accord intermediate shaft, use the driverside Accord axle or if you're using a Prelude intermediate shaft, use a prelude driverside axle. The passenger side won't matter as far as I remember. But I read that the Prelude axle will bind when used in an Accord. So stick with the Accord axles since they're made for that chasis.
