Default Wiring through firewall 97 Gs

I just got a sub for my Gs and I'm trying to wire it in myself. The power needs to run off of the battery, and to do it I want to go directly from the battery and not splice any wires.

So I need to know the easiest location and way to run a wire from the interior, though the fire wall and into the engine bay.

If there is a DIY link that anyone knows of can you post it here, or offer any tips.

Thanks

driver side under the clutch master cylinder. there is a grommet, or passenger side behind the fuse box there is one. whichever is easier for you.

There is a rubber grommet just south of the battery tray on the firewall that is perfect for running power wire through. Pull the grommet, cut a hole for your power wire to fit through the grommet and run it down the passenger side of the car to your amp location. You may want to pull the battery for easiest access to the grommet, also pull back the carpet just below the glove box to pull the insulation plug that covers the grommet location in the passenger compartment.
