I was thinking about it, it's gonna be about the same price if i buy a rebuilt head, or getting it rebuild, just not sure which route is better, might save time a little money and time buy buying this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-1-6-Re...8ef928&vxp=mtr

less than 300 shipped from Calexico, CA.

any ideas?

Looking for the cheapest and reliable way to fix this.
Are those gasket set on eBay reliable? How much does a set usually go for?

What part of cali do you live?? $850 to rebuild your y7 head??!

Oh wait, that's putting aftermarket valves, springs retainers, 5 angle valve job with new valve seals and a regrinded cam right? Sounds about right then

You're going turbo?

$850 for a head rebuild? ****ING crhist. You can buy a whole new longblock for less than that. Well, not new, but running with decent miles.

you can get another engine around that price, if not, cheaper. save yourself the downtime and headache and replace the whole engine if you are looking to spend around 850

it doesn't seem like my block has any problem, it's just the head. i'm trying to not touch the block if i don't have to cuz i want the vin to stay untouched.

if i buy the head from Clipsed and have harms help me out, then i will just have to buy a gasket set and get everything done for about 500. that sounds a lot better than 850+

I gave away a perfectly running y7 head last year. I got tired of trying to sell it for 30 dollars so just gave it away for free
