i have a 94 eg sedan with a z6 i have spark and ecu is good and the fuse 31 and 24 r good and were tested and the main relay plug was tested 5 to 7 jump works and so does 1 to 7 jump so this tells me my relay is bad but its a brand new relay what to do ??? oh and G101 ground is good plzzz help befor i burn this thing lol

 

oh and it would not start so i got the main relay and still nothing thin i got a ecu and it rain for about a mint then died

 

also cel comes on then goes offff then i try it start it and it comes on then back off

 

Have you opened up the original and recent ECU to look for a blown component?

Do these^ ECUs work in another car?

 

yes i have no burt smell or any thing ?the with the main relay hooked up i test the pin 7 for volts with a test light and it lights up but is dim

 

just moved out of stat and dont know anyone here to help that has a eg or teg to test it

with my old ecu i had no fuel pump signal at the main relay from ecu and with the new ecu i did the same test and it seems to be getting signal

 

The question is: "Is your car frying ECUs?"

Did you open up the ECUs and inspect them? Post pictures.

p28-1 was the stock on i pulled out[IMG][/IMG]

 

p28-2 got this one off craigslist and it didnt work [IMG][/IMG]

then got a p06 cuz i could not find any p28s and it rain then died

 

Also post pictures of the component side of the ECUs.

 

the p06 is socketed but has no chip and the link on is is cut so it will run stock from what i was told

Do these tests still cause the fuel pump to run?

 

nope and no burt smell or any thing but with both p28s my cel stayed on and no signal to main relay for the fuel pump but when i put the p06 in it started and rain the died but there was no cel

 

yes that test makes the pump run

 

yes it does but if i leave to relay hooked up and test if power is going to 7 with a test light it lights up but not a lot

 

Do you have a multimeter? There are some electrical tests that should be informative.

 

no but i can go get one what should i look for
