Icon2 scraping sound from transmission

I have a 95 civic. There is a rattling sound coming from the trnsmission when in neutral. And a scraping sound when it is put into gear AND moved in 1st2nd&3rd. only after 30 mph and in 4th and 5th you cant hear it. What can this possibly be? Throw out bearing maybe...?

it could be your throwout bearing and a number of things inside of the trans. Maybe its not your trans, jack it up and check everything out.

most common is an input shaft bearing.

stopped in Neutral, engine running does the noise go away when you press the clutch pedal down?

If so ISB or Input Shaft Bearing.

I just did an isb that made zero noise at idle but on decel it sounded like the trans was breaking in half.
