Finally finished the H2b swap in my friends EK and we went to hook up the battery and the main 80 amp fuse labeled battery blew. We tried it a second time and blew a second fuse. Im sure its something really stupid but i havent seen this problem before so if anyone can share some ideas it would be really appreciated. Setup is a 1997 ex with an H22A and a GSR transmission, using the EX harness and a P28 on Hondata s300

 

If you disconnect the large white alternator wire from the hood fuse box, does the fuse stop blowing?

 

Ill have to check it out tonight when i get more fuses, if the fuse doesnt blow when i take the alternator wire out of the box what would the problem be?

 

A short to ground in the white wire or in the alternator.
